Homer E. Smith; 65; of Webster (Rostraver Township); died Sunday; April 12; 2009; in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late William D. and Ethel Booth Smith; he was born in Purcell; Pa.; on Feb. 16; 1944. Homer had resided in Webster since 1960 and was employed as a truck driver for Webster Auto Parts. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law; Darla and Rick Sturtz; of Fredericktown; Connie and Ron Babich; of Bentleyville; Vicki and Kevin Bennett; of Webster; and Rhonda and Thomas Toth; of Belle Vernon; one son and daughter-in- law; Rodney E. and Rebecca Smith; of Belle Vernon (Fellsburg); and nine grandchildren; Brandi and Mark Morgan; Brandon and Ashley Smith; Kane Tomcanin; Haley and Carley Bennett and Meagan and Aaron Toth. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Ellen Lunt Smith; on Aug. 12; 1999; and one sister; Ruth E. Miller.
