Lena Sichi; 92; of Belle Vernon; passed away Tuesday; Dec. 22; 2009; in Country Care Manor. A daughter of the late John and Mary Ambrose McCune; she was born in Charleroi on Aug. 20; 1917. Lena had resided most of her adult life in Belle Vernon; was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and a former member of the Annita Garibaldi Society. Survivors include two sons and three daughters-in-law; James and Kathleen Sichi and John and Judy Sichi; all of Belle Vernon; and Linda Sichi of Monongahela; two sisters; Ange Koslosky of Belle Vernon and Mary Delores Babe Michaux of Charleroi; six grandchildren; Lori Long and husband; Bruce; Leigh Ann Kostelac and husband; Eric; Eric Sichi and wife; Theresa; Matthew Sichi and wife; Christina; Tara Kelemen and husband; Mike; and Sara Sichi; and six great-grandchildren; Carly and Kendyll Long; Eric Jr. and Sage Kostelac and Jacob and Andrew Sichi. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Edward in 1991; one son; Edward Sichi Jr.; five sisters; Jay Koslosky; Stella Rogers; Sue Baker; Gina Mukiewiez and Rose Zeli; and three brothers; Patsy; Al and Mike McCune.
