Obituary

June J. Story Leone, 86, of North Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter. Born June 23, 1926, in Gibsonton, she was the daughter of the late Garfield and Pearl Leasure Story. A resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 23 years, Mrs. Leone was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and was retired from Corning Glass of Charleroi. She is survived by five sons and four daughters-in-law, Thomas G. Leone Jr. and wife, Arlene, of Greensburg, Joseph A. Leone of Donora, John F. and Barb Leone of Charleroi, James D. and Pamela Leone of Greensburg, Anthony M. and Valerie Leone of Latrobe, two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and James Donahoe of Mt. Oliver, Tina and Thomas Wilson of Belle Vernon, sister, Betty Williams of Belle Vernon, 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Guy Leone, in 1998, a brother, John D. Story, three sisters, Louise Pearce, Dorothy Steffey, and Thelma McNeil, and five grandchildren, infant James Leone Jr., Thomas J. Leone, infant Anthony Leone Jr., infant Gabriel Leone and Melissa Donahoe. Visitation will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayer service will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home followed by funeral Mass at 1 p.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the Rosary for the departed soul of June Leone 3 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
