Joseph Buonocore; 87; of Strongsville; Ohio; formerly of Pennsylvania; passed away Saturday; April 26; 2008; in Medina; Ohio. He was born May 24; 1920; in Monessen; a son of the late Octavio and Mary (nee Patti) Buonocore. He resided in Cuyahoga County; Ohio; for many years; where he retired from the transmission department of General Motors. Mr. Buonocore was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by one brother; Eugene Buonocore; of Valley City; Ohio; two sisters; sisters; Rose Goroncy; of Pricedale; and Margaret Cunningham; of West Newton; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one brother; Leonard. Services will be held Thursday; May 1; at 11:30 a.m. in the Belle Vernon Cemetery Chapel.
