Emily S. Marie McVay; 89; of Latrobe; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Monday; Feb. 22; 2010; in Excela Jeannette Hospice. She was born Sunday; May 16; 1920; in Rostraver Township; a daughter of the late Louis and Maria Mossieux Souply. Emily was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Latrobe. She was a graduate of California University and had been a first grade teacher for the Belle Vernon School District. She had been a resident of New Haven Court-Memory Care of Greensburg; and appreciated all of the loving care she received there. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; John Lee McVay; a brother; Louis Souply; three sisters; Alice; Aline and Bertha. She is survived by her loving daughter; Laurie Ann; and her husband; Glenn Means; of Latrobe; three grandchildren; Benjamin; Nicholas and Bethany Means; several nieces; nephews and cousins.
