Johnella Anderson, 82, of Monessen, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016. Born September 27, 1933 in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Maggie Carter and John Love. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers Tommy Love, George Love, Willis Love, Paul Love and three sisters Wilma Ward, Alice Ingram and Patricia Kizzie. Johnella was a former resident of Gary, IN and Detroit, MI for 25 years prior to moving back to her hometown. She worked for General Motors in Detroit MI for 16 years. She was also a former daughter of the Elite Temple 428 of Monessen. She is survived by one brother, Bruce Love of Detroit, MI; one sister Bettie Love of Monessen and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family and friends will be received from 10 am until 12 pm Wednesday February 24 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Monessen, with going home services immediately following.
