Gloria Jean Wozniak Hackenson, 77, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at her home. Born April 19, 1938, in North Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Kathryn Tisot Wozniak. A resident of Washington Township, Mrs. Hackenson was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church and was a retired grocery clerk from Shop 'N Save, Monessen. She enjoyed her family, her special group of lady friends and treasured the time she spent with her grandsons. She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Bruce Hackenson of Belle Vernon, David and Tracey Hackenson of Belle Vernon; two grandsons, Trey Hackenson, Tanner Hackenson; brother, Robert Wozniak of Perryopolis; and a sister-in-law, Helene Wozniak of Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "Hack" Hackenson in 2011; son, Thomas S. Hackenson in 2008; and her brother, Donald Wozniak. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayer Service will be held Saturday at 9:00 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 9:30 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Gloria Hackenson Friday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
