Joseph Carl Coccari; 89; of Monessen; died Friday; May 6; 2011; at his residence. He was born in Monessen; Oct. 31; 1921; a son of the late Rosario and Philomenna (Margieri) Coccari. Mr. Coccari was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a graduate of Monessen High School. He was a member of Gate Keeper Community Church and Turner Hall Gym. He was retired from American Chain and Cable; Pages plant; in Monessen. Joe was a loving husband; father; grandfather and great-grandfather; who enjoyed family and playing his guitar. He is survived a son; Randall Randy Coccari; of Monessen; a daughter and son-in-law; Judy and Michael Zamiska; of Algonquin; Ill.; a brother; Rudolph Coccari; five grandchildren; Kim and Michael Egidi; of Monessen; Jodi Coccari; of Monessen; Christopher Coccari and fiancee; Heidi Povlish; of West Newton; Michael Zamiska; of Wonder Lake; Ill.; and Steven Zamiske; of Glen Ellyn; Ill.; 10 great-grandchildren; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Marie Jane (Usher) Coccari; daughter-in-law; Sherry Lee (Williams) Coccari; grandson; Jared Coccari; a sister; Marie Heckel; a brother; John Coccari; brothers-in-law; John Usher and Daniel Evangelist; and a sister-in-law; Frances Usher. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the DALFONSO-BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES; 441 Reed Ave.; Monessen; (724-684-8750). Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Donald Anders officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
