William Joseph Moore; 58; of Charleroi; passed away unexpectedly; Monday; Dec. 30; 2013; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born Nov. 4; 1955; in New Eagle; the son of Helen Jackson Moore of Finleyville and the late William Leroy Moore. Bill was a graduate of Monongahela High School; with the Class of 1973. He was a very active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Belle Vernon. Bill retired from the U.S. Steel Coke Works; Clairton Plant. In addition to his mother; he is survived by his wife; Ivonne Sonya Moore; daughter; Karly Jo Moore of Erie; two stepdaughters; Tara Doggett and Joice Alouw; stepson; Gary Prosser Jr.; two brothers; Jerry Moore of Westminster; Calif.; and Glenn Moore of South Park; one granddaughter; Payton; and several stepgrandchildren. Also surviving are his aunts; Ruth Ann West; Mary Jane Shephard; Sandra Miller and Marlene Moore. In addition to his father; Bill was preceded in death by his first wife; Susan Moore. Friends will be received 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES INC.; 226 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi.
