Obituary

Evelyn U. Walker, 88, of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016. A daughter of the late Reuben and Anna M. Jackson Hatton, she was born in Pauto, OK on January 30, 1928. Evelyn had been employed as a nurses aid at the former Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Survivors include five sons; Barton Walker, David Walker, Joseph Walker, and William R. Walker, all of Belle Vernon, and Vernon Walker of Brockway, one daughter; Patricia Early of Donora, 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Walker in 1981, one son; George Walker, and one daughter; Evelyn Harris. There will be no public visitation or services. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
