Augustine M. Augie Moreau Behrendt; 91; formerly of Monessen; died January 31; 2008. Mrs. Behrendt was born February 29; 1916; in Monessen and moved to The Villages; Fla.; from Sterling; Ill.; in 2004. She was an elementary school teacher and principal in Monessen and was a world traveler who loved reading and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents; Louis and Louisa Moreau; her husband; Herman Carl Behrendt; and her brothers; Eugene Moreau and Gustave Moreau. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law; Dr. Richard L. and Janice K. Behrendt; of The Villages; Fla.; a daughter; Louise Ann Kelly; of St. Clair Shores; Mich.; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She will be interred in Belle Vernon Cemetery with arrangements made by FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY INC.; Belle Vernon. A memorial service will be held in the spring in the First Baptist Church of Manlius in Wyanet; Ill.
