Olga A. Shipitz; 88; of North Belle Vernon; went to be with the Lord on Saturday; Feb. 16; 2013; in Monongahela Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Garber Komlos; she was born in Monessen on Aug. 26; 1924. Olga previously resided in Fayette City until moving to North Belle Vernon in 1965. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Survivors include a son; George F. Shipitz Jr. of Columbia; S.C.; a daughter and son-in-law; Helen Joyce and Harry Jones of Elizabeth; four grandchildren; James Dzatko and Joshua; Nathan and Monica Shipitz; and one great-grandson; Caleb Shipitz. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; George F. Shipitz Sr.; on Feb. 6; 1972; and five brothers; John; Andrew; Emil; Michael and George Komlos.
