Elise Chew; 86; of North Charleroi; died Sunday; Dec. 16; 2007; in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born April 11; 1921; in North Charleroi; a daughter of the late Achille and Louisa Dusart Berlin. Mrs. Chew was a member of First Christian Church in Charleroi and the Amicus Class; the Democratic Women’s Club of Monongahela and the North Charleroi Home and Hospital Club. She is survived by her husband; Frank D. Chew Jr.; with whom she celebrated 67 years of marriage on Aug. 10; 2007; one son; Frank D. Chew III and wife; Joanne; of Dayton; Ohio; two daughters; Linda Lapinsky; of North Charleroi; and Rosemarie Bird and husband; Ronald; of Belle Vernon; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law; Anthony Mosco; of Monessen; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; Mrs. Chew was preceded in death by her sister; Yvette Mosco. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHROCK- HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC.
