William John Molnar; 79; of Gillespie; died peacefully surrounded by family Tuesday; June 29; 2010; at 3:30 p.m. Born Oct. 21; 1930; in Keisterville; Pa.; he was the son of the late John and Suzanna Molnar. A resident of Gillespie for the past 59 years; Mr. Molnar was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; and the former Holy Spirit Church; Fayette City. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Allenport plant; and was the owner of Molnar Supply. He enjoyed gardening and tinkering around the yard and garage; and helping his family. He was also a social member of the Belle Vernon and Fayette City American Legions. He is survived by his wife; Agnes Kostal Molnar; to whom he would have been married 59 years in August 2010; daughter; Loraine A. Leeper; of Belle Vernon; two sons and daughters-in-law; William J. Molnar Jr. and wife; Tracy; of Gillespie; Ronald and Marianne Molnar; of Perryopolis; sister; Ethel Soja; of North Olmsted; Ohio; four grandchildren; Andrea E. Leeper; of Belle Vernon; Bud Leeper and wife Tracey; of Gibsonia; Brittany and Marissa Molnar; both of Fayette City; two great-grandsons; Justin and Cody Leeper. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law; Bud Leeper. Visitation will be held Thursday; July 1; from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday; July 2; from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; (724) 929-6183. Prayer service will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas; pastor; as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of William Molnar Friday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
