She was born Sept. 21; 1954; in North Charleroi; a daughter of the late Robert Cathers and the late Irene Bukoski Cathers. She is survived by her husband; Fred Hess; two children; Lori Kossar and Brian Hess; both of Belle Vernon; her grandmother; Kathryn Hess; of Belle Vernon; two brothers; Robert (Karen) Cathers; of Newell; and Ricky (Deborah) Cathers; of Belle Vernon; two sisters; Janet Woods and Linda Smith; both of Madison; and one grandson; Logan Kossar; of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by a daughter; Kimberly Ann Hess; on Jan. 13; 2005.
