C. Howard Hill; 71; of Belle Vernon; died Monday; June 4; 2007; in his home. A son of the late Clarence Lee Hill and Mary Cadwell Hill Magee; he was born in West Pike Run Township on Aug. 22; 1935. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. In his church; Howard sang in the choir; served on the administrative council; where he was the past chairman; and was the manager of the church dart ball team. He retired in 1996 from the SuperValu warehouse and; since 2001; worked for the Ferguson Funeral Home as an attendant and greeter. Howard had been a member of the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife of 43 years; Nancy White Hill; four sons and daughters-in-law; Howard Lee and Tracey Hill; of Fayetteville; N.C.; Mark E. and Lori Hill; of Mt. Prospect; Ill.; Eric S. and Beth Hill; of Aviano; Italy; and Ryan T. and Tammy Hill; of Augusta; Ga.; one brother and sister-in-law; David and Alice Hill; of Mt. Morris; N.Y.; eight grandchildren; Jessica and husband Fiti; Tabitha; Taylor; Kelly; Shane; Chase; Joseph and wife Jennifer; and Jeremy; four brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Ellis and Darla White; Elma and Martin Martinosky; Robert White; Doris Kinik and Thomas and Kathy White; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by one sister; Amy Arnold.
