Anna Yaczkanich (Yetsconish); 98; of Washington Township (Naomi); died Monday; May 14; 2007; in her home. A daughter of the late Vasil and Helen Popovich; she was born in Czechoslovakia on Sept. 20; 1908. She was a member of St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen and St. John’s Altar Society. Anna had resided in Naomi for over 70 years. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Anna and Paul Comadena; of Naomi; and Olga and Michael Dankovcik; of Monessen; one son; Charles M. Yaczkanich (Yetsconish); of Naomi; nine grandchildren; Mark Comadena and wife Pamela; of Normal; Ill.; Sharon Krepps and husband Ronald; Lynn Ludwick and husband Jeff; all of Belle Vernon; Beth Ann Salathe; of Greensburg; David Dankovcik; of Monessen; Michael and wife Lisa Doran; of Lakewood; Ohio; Karen Essi and husband Mark; of Bay Village; Ohio; Denise Christian; of Lakewood; Ohio; and Jim and Lisa Doran; of Parma; Ohio; 12 great-grandchildren; Jordan Comadena; Ronald; Aaron; Chelsea and Jonathan Krepps; Jesse and Sarah Ludwick; Brittani and Jamie Salathe; Matthew and Lindsay Essi; and Hannah Christian. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Simeon Yaczkanich; in 1950; one son; John Yaczkanich; one daughter; Mary Yetsconish Doran; one brother; Charles Popovich; and one sister; Mary.
