Obituary

Ethel Ross Kyle, 84, of North Belle Vernon, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, in Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late John E. and Allie Barr Ross, she was born in Belle Vernon on Feb. 4, 1923. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and its Ruth Circle, the Monongahela Historical Society, the Vernon Belles, the Belle Vernon Golden Agers and the Red Hat Society. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, George P. Jeep and Sherry Kyle, of Washington Township, one daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Bruce Usher, of Belle Vernon, two grandchildren, Ryan Usher and wife Traci, of Scottdale, and Justin Kyle, of Canonsburg, and her cat, Ginger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Athalia Hague, Geneva Cowell and Rose McLaughlin, three brothers, Paul E., John E. Jr. and Donald Ross, and one granddaughter, Jennifer Usher. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, www.fergusonfuneralhomeandcrematory.com, (724- 929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Additional visitation will be in the First United Methodist Church, State Street, Belle Vernon, on Saturday, May 5, from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of services with the Rev. David P. Zona officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
