Violet V. Livingstone; 88; of Columbus; Ind.; died Tuesday; Jan. 2; 2007; in Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born May 4; 1918; in Monessen; a daughter of the late Louigi and Maria Meranda DeRose. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and F.O.E. Women’s Auxiliary 2399 in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Livingstone also was a past member of the Professional Women’s Sorority and a former interior decorator at Check’s Furniture Store in Monessen. On July 5; 1938; she married James H. Livingstone; who passed away in 1944. Survivors include one daughter; Iola M. (Bill) Zinn; of Columbus; Ind.; three grandchildren; Christina Zinn-Krulewitch; of Indianapolis; Ind.; James Zinn; of Greensburg; and Scott Zinn; of Connersville; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband; she was preceded in death by two brothers; Ernest and Louis DeRose; and one sister; Alvera Bruguglio. Friends will be received at BARKES; WEAVER & GLICK FUNERAL HOME; 1029 Washington St.; Columbus; Ind. 47201; 812-372-2515; on Sunday; Jan. 7; from 1 to 2 p.m.; at which time a memorial service will be held in the funeral home with the Rev.
