Obituary

Donald A. Zunic, 55, of Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in his home. A son of the late Edna Mary Albright Zunic and John S. Zunic, who survives and resides in Belle Vernon, he was born in North Charleroi on Sept. 28, 1950. An avid fisherman, he was formerly a truck driver for both Arrow and Bryant Cement companies of Pittsburgh. He had resided in Rostraver Township for the past four years and was formerly of Munhall and the South Side. Survivors, in addition to his father, are a daughter and son-in-law, Annette and George Trenk, of Monongahela, a sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Randy Burnsworth, two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Sharon Zunic and James and Lorraine Zunic, all of Belle Vernon, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. AND CREMATION SERVICE, www.fergusonfuneralhome.net, a Golden Rule Member Firm, 724-929-5300, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. David Lutz, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
