Obituary

Amy Joy Widmer Wentworth, 27, of North Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at 2:13 p.m. in Snyder Township, Blair County. Born Aug. 26, 1979, in Mt. Pleasant, she was the daughter of Dennis and Diane Craft Widmer, of North Belle Vernon. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Amy was a member of Gospel Alliance Church in Charleroi and employed by Yareck's of Charleroi as a medical biller. She attended Chapel Christian School, was a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School Class of 1998 and a graduate of Eastern University of Philadelphia with a bachelor's degree in music and a minor in business. Amy also was a pianist at Gospel Alliance Church in Charleroi. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, David Widmer, of Philadelphia, and Luke Widmer, of North Belle Vernon, maternal grandparents, William and Donna Craft, of Long Branch, paternal grandmother, Eva Widmer, of North Belle Vernon, and fiance Ken Risttau and his daughter Delany Risttau, of State College, and many aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Holly Joy Wentworth, and paternal grandfather, John Widmer. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Relatives and friends will gather Saturday, Oct. 14, at Gospel Alliance Church, McKean Avenue, Charleroi for 10 a.m. services with Pastor Brad Sickler officiating.
