Obituary

George P. Turner Jr., 53, of Uniontown, formerly of the Mon Valley, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, at his home. Born March 15, 1953, in North Charleroi, he was the son of George P. Turner Sr., of Pricedale, and Betty J. Dominico Nash, of Monessen. He was a resident of Uniontown for the past three years, having previously resided in the Mon Valley. Mr. Turner was Catholic by faith, a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School and had attended Geneva College. He was a realtor for 30 years and also a developer of Willowbrook Ridge, Spring Grove and Cedar Hills. He was working with a new development called Crystal Springs in Uniontown and with Century 21 Frontier Realty. George was a member of the National and Pennsylvania Board of Realtors. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepmother, Kay Turkali Turner, a sister and brother-in-law, Sheryl L. and Joseph D. Maiolini, of Charleroi, his stepsister and husband, Dorianne and Jack Sharp, of Virginia Beach, Va., and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, James N. Nash, and his stepbrother, James K. Nash. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). A Prayer Service will be held Thursday, Aug. 17, at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Monessen with the Rev. David J.
