Linda Paterra Picchiarini; 90; of North Belle Vernon; died Sunday August 13; 2006 at 12:08 AM in Comenaugh Hospital; Johnstown.

Born October 8; 1915 in Monessen; she was the daughter of the late Sistino and Clelia DiIorio Paterra.

Mrs. Picchiarini was a retired secretary to the librarian at Belle Vernon Area High School and member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon.

She is survived by 2 daughters and sons in law; Olivia and Andrew Ninchak of North Belle Vernon; Joann and Barry Adams of Ebensburg; PA; 5 grandchildren Joshua Leopold of Pittsburgh; Rachel and Benjamin Leopold both of New York City; Amanda and Amy Adams both of Ebensburg. She is preceeded in death by her husband Ilvo Picchiarini Dec. 16; 1980; a sister Hilda Salotti; 4 brothers Guy; John; Frank and Bernard Paterra.

Visitation will be held Tuesday August 15; 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Avenue; Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.

Prayer Service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church; Belle Vernon with the Rev. Charles Esposito Parochial Vicar as celebrant.

Interment will take place in Belle Vernonn Cemetery.

Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Linda Picchiarini Tuesday at 3 PM in the funeral home.
