Joann Behrendt Norkus; 72; of Monessen; died Tuesday; June 6; 2006; in her home.

She was born Dec. 22; 1933; in Charleroi; a daughter of the late Walter and Gillamean Pauwels Behrendt.

Joann is survived by her son; Danee Lynn Norkus; of Charleroi; and a brother; Jack B. Behrendt; of California.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her son; Jeff Norkus.
