Obituary

Martha Miller, 78, of Belle Vernon (Fairhope), died peacefully in her home on Sunday, May 21, 2006. A daughter of the late Peter and Maria Grauvogel Isele, she was born in Ludwigsmoos, Germany, on July 29, 1927. Martha had resided in Augsburg, Germany, until moving to Fairhope on April 1, 1956. She had worked as a seamstress and enjoyed the outdoors, especially gardening and walking with her devoted canine companion, Madison. Her greatest joy was being a devoted mother and grandmother. Martha was very proud of receiving her naturalization papers on June 20, 1980. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Dean Mori, of Rostraver Township, and Kimberly and William Orova, of Philadelphia, two sons and daughters-in- law, James C. and Lynette Miller, of Leawood, Kan., and William E. and Eileen Miller, of Jefferson Hills, one brother, Alfons Isele, of Germany, and five grandchildren, Cameron Simon, Sean Miller, Brian Miller, Meghan Miller and Margo Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Miller, on July 4, 1976, one grandson, Michael Miller, two brothers, Pius and Josef Isele, and one sister, Wally Lassel. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE., www.fergusonfuneralhome.net, a Golden Rule Member Firm, (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Thursday, May 25, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Herb Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Herb Richardson Ministries through the funeral home.
