She was born May 21; 1917; in Uniontown; a daughter of the late Dave John and Anna Richey David. She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church; Fayette City. Surviving are two daughters; Joyce Haynes and husband John; of Gallion; Ala.; and Philomena Meli and husband Tom; of Charleroi; a daughter-in-law; Carol Smith Vito; of Bentleyville; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; five sisters; Mary Lakin; of Grottoes; Va.; Frances Buck; of Silver Spring; Md.; Dorothy Harper and husband Frank; of Uniontown; Ala.; Thelma David; of Hopwood; and Kathryn Deeds and husband Jerry of Smock. She was preceded in death by her husband; Anthony P. Vito; in 1976; a son; Anthony David Vito; on March l3; 2006; three brothers; Thomas; Bill and George David; and one sister; Ann Pratt. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday; May 3 until 9:30 a.m.; when a Blessing Service will take place followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
