Michael Mickey Plesko; 90; of Dunlevy; died Sunday; April 30; 2006; in his home. A son of the late Charles and Rita Kander Plesko; he was born in Stockdale on Oct. 25; 1915. He was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church and the VFW Post 167; both of Charleroi; and the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Retirees. A resident of Dunlevy for the past 58 years; he was formerly of Roscoe and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; having served aboard the USS Shangri-La. He retired in 1982 from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; where he worked in the steam and power plant. Survivors include his wife; Anna Yodie Plesko; whom he married on June 27; 1940; one daughter and son-in-law; Rita Kathleen and Thomas Connor; of Mapleview; two sons and daughters-in-law; Michael C. and Victoria Plesko; of Latrobe; and Emery F. and Carol Plesko; of Dunlevy; four sisters; Mary Coneybeer; of Belle Vernon; Olive Coneybeer; of Rostraver Township; Irene Leonard; of Lewisville; Texas; and Jane Burkett; of Farino; Ohio; seven grandchildren; Cynthia Plesko; Julie Grace; Stephanie Plesko; Michelle Suppa; Kelly Russell; Brian Connor and Chad Plesko; and three great-grandchildren; Ethan Russell; Brandon Grace and Chad Hunter Plesko. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by two sisters; Elizabeth and Helen Plesko; and five brothers; Emery; Steven; Charles; John and George Plesko. James Ragan as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Parastas Service will be in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
