John V. Fletcher; 72; of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Township); died Saturday; Feb. 25; 2006 in Jefferson Regional Health System; Jefferson Borough. Born May 18; 1933 in North Charleroi; he was a son of Margaret Debnar Fletcher; of Charleroi; and the late John C. Fletcher. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 43 years; Mr. Fletcher was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Charleroi. He was a retired millwright from Pittsburgh Local 2235; having received his 50-year pin; and he was a member of the Fairhope Rod & Gun Club and the Charleroi and Monongahela Sportsmen’s clubs. He is survived by his wife; Judy Bazilewich Fletcher; to whom he was married 43 years; a son; John P. Fletcher; of Jeannette; a daughter and son-in-law; Rebecca and Tim Baker; of Rostraver Township; a brother; Tom Fletcher; of Speers; a sister and brother-in-law; Donna and Jerry Daniel; of Atlanta; Ga.; and one granddaughter; Amanda Baker. Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday; March 1 at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church with the Rev. Gregory Peterson as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Parastas Service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
