Jack I. Wolford; 62; of Belle Vernon; died Monday; Feb. 20; 2006; in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born Feb. 16; 1944; in North Charleroi; a son of Helen Curtis Wolford; who survives and resides in Belle Vernon; and the late Carl Wolford. A veteran; he was a member of the American Legion in Belle Vernon and numerous other social clubs in the Mon Valley area. Mr. Wolford was an employee of U.S. Steel; having worked as a foreman prior to his retirement. He is survived by one son; Jack Wolford and wife Ginger; of South Carolina; two granddaughters; Jessica and Ashley; two brothers; Carl Buzzy Wolford and wife Carol; of Monessen; and Robert Wolford and wife Barbara; of Allenport; four sisters; Dolores Johnson; of Columbus; Ohio; Mona Belczyk and husband Stanley; of Belle Vernon; Toni Evans; of Monessen; and Kathy Fronzagelo; of Bridgeville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.; 1209 Grand Blvd.; Monessen; a Golden Rule Funeral Home; on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday; Feb. 24; at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
