Glenn R. Pete Ramsey; 74; of North Charleroi; died Saturday; Nov. 19; 2005; in his home following a long illness. Mr. Ramsey was born Sept. 6; 1931; in Hazelwood; a son of the late John W. and Julia Jude Ramsey. He was a member of the Mon Valley YMCA and retired from Mon Valley Hospital. Mr. Ramsey also served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 44 years; Elizabeth L. Peggford; a brother; Warren Ramsey; of Charleroi; two sisters; Mrs. Roy (Doris Jean) Gates and Donna Matson; both of Belle Vernon; and several nieces; nephews; great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother; William John Ramsey; and a sister and brother-in-law; Vera M. and Charles E. Jones. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME INC.; 226 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
