Obituary

Margaret Trenk Kornhi, 95, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, in Florida. A daughter of the late Paul and Mary Molnar Trenk, she was born in Hungary on May 28, 1910. A resident of Florida since 1952, she was a member of the Central Bible Church of St. Petersburg. Margaret, along with her late husband, owned and operated Echols Sleep Shop in St. Petersburg from 1956 until 1981 and were both among the founders of the Clearwater Christian College of Clearwater, Fla. Survivors include many nieces and nephews in the Mon Valley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kornhi, in 1987, a daughter, Virginia Kornhi, in 1945, a sister, Eleanor Senko, and three brothers, Louis, Paul and James Trenk. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Anthony officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
