Obituary

Edward Anthony Landosky, 82, of Belle Vernon (Washington Township), died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, at 3:14 p.m. in the Washington Care Home, Washington, Pa. Born March 7, 1923 in Washington Township, he was a son of the late Joseph and Josephine Ruzicka Lewandowski. A lifelong resident of Washington Township, Mr. Landowsky was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vetnon and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant, where he worked as a shipping clerk. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the U.S. Navy. The last remaining member of his immediate family, he is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Caesar, Stanley and Zigmund Levandowsky, and four sisters, Jennie Badock, Faye Bilski, Wanda Jaskowick and Virginia C. Barnot. Visitation and prayer services were held Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183), followed by a Funeral Mass in St Sebastian R.C. Church. Entombment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
