Obituary

Anna Telleck Surovchak, of Belle Vernon, died Monday, June 6, 2005 at 8:15 p.m. in Excela Health-Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Born July 27, 1915 in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Youshock Telleck. A resident of Belle Vernon, she was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Charleroi and the Ladies Aid of the church. Mrs. Surovchak was retired from MacBeth Glass, Charleroi, where she worked as a glass designer. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Theresa Surovchak of Belle Vernon, a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Robert Breakwell of Belle Vernon, seven grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Susan, David and Daniel Surovchak, Rebekah Foringer and husband Randy, and Matthew Breakwell, a great-grandson, Andrew Charles Foringer, a brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Flory Telleck of Barton, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Surovchak, on Feb. 27, 1994, five brothers, William, Jack, Joseph, Nicholas and Louis Telleck, and six sisters, Christina Uhall, Mary Madzy, Eva Stranko, Rose Kossar and Julia and Lillian Telleck. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). A prayer service will be held Friday at 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard F. Price officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Anna Surovchak to St. John's Lutheran Church, Charleroi.
