Lynn Marie Grogan-Chaney; 39; of Monessen; went home to be with the Lord on Saturday; May 7; 2005. She was born Jan. 26; 1966 in Charleroi; the daughter of Richard Sr. and Shirley Grogan of Monessen. She was preceded in death by a brother; Albert Albie Grogan; in 1996; and a nephew; Robert J-Boy Bristol; in 2003. She was employed by the Adams House in Charleroi for the past year. She was well loved and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents; she leaves to cherish her memory four children Marguala and Michael Chaney and Miah and Marquis Grogan; all of Monessen; three sisters; Darlene and Lorrie Grogan and Cheresse Reese Grogan-Bristol and husband Robert J.B. Bristol; all of Monessen; three brothers; Richard Jr. and Byron Grogan; both of Pricedale; and David Davie Grogan of Donora; a cousin whom Lynn considered a sister; Kawana Bowman of North Carolina; a best friend; Lisa Bright-Floyd of Monessen; a godchild; Alicia Bright of Monessen; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends. Family and friends will be received Tuesday; May 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church; 230 Reed Ave.; Monessen. Funeral services will be held in the church on Wednesday; May 11 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Griffin E. Mason officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the BEVERLY C.
