Mary Wenick; 86; of Brownsville; died Wednesday; Sept. 29; 2004 in Beverly Health Care; Uniontown. She was born in Alicia on Dec. 26; 1917; a daughter of the late John and Elsie Fleck Wenick. A resident of Brownsv1lle since 1943; she was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Catholic Church of Brownsville and had been an employee of the former Plaza Theater in Brownsville. Survivors include two sisters-in-law; Mary D. Wenick of Belle Vernon and Mary T. Wenick of Charleroi; and six nieces and nephews and their spouses; John David Wenick and Jan of Escanaba; Mich.; Louis M. Wenick and Vicki of Panama City; Fla.; George D. Wenick and Evelyn of Atlanta; Ga.; Mark J. Wenick and Charlene of Raleigh; N.C.; Susan McAtamney and Patrick of Spring Lake; N.J.; and Mary Elizabeth Wenick of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by four brothers; John Jr.; Michael; Joseph and George Wenick; one sister; Elsie Katzelle and one niece; Elsie Carole Brumley. Funeral services were private followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
