Gary L. Dull; 66; of Belle Vernon; went to be with the Lord on Thursday; Sept. 2; 2004; in Mon Valley Hospital. A son of the late Joseph and Alverta Bulger Dull; he was born in North Charleroi on Aug. 21; 1938. Protestant by faith; he had lived most of his life in the Belle Vernon area. Mr. Dull worked for the Western-Southern Life Insurance Company for 10 years and was retired from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife of 44 years; Joyce Atkins Dull; one son and daughter-in-law; Steven and Heather Dull of Warren; Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law; Vickie and Richard Skooglund and Amy and William Taylor; all of Belle Vernon; two brothers; Arnold Dull of Belle Vernon and Jeffrey Dull of Greensburg; two sisters; Carol Rupp of Wyano and Sharon Delbarre of Belle Vernon; and eight grandchildren; Jessalyn; Seth and Kaitlen Protin; Brandon; Morgan and Mallory Patterson and Mackenzie Taylor; all of Belle Vernon; and Taylor Dull of Warren; Ohio. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; (724-929-5300); a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Saturday; Sept. 4; at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Tim McConville; pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
