John H. Bud Brandon; 89; of Belle Vernon; died Saturday; Aug 7; 2004 in Jefferson Hospital. Born July 13; 1915 in Collinsburg; he was the son of the late John and Edna Brandon. A retired coal miner; Mr. Brandon had been a member of Pricedale Union Church; Fayette City Golden Agers and the Mon Valley Dart Ball League. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law; John T. and Wilma Brandon of Beaverton; Mich.; one daughter; Sondra Bruce of Belle Vernon; four grandchildren; Scott Bruce; Derrick Bruce; John T. Brandon Jr. and Christine L. Conrad; and six great-grandchildren; Nathaniel and Daniel Bruce; Michelle Ward; Shannon Brandon; Joshua Gee and Sarah Conrad. Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; a Golden Rule Funeral Home; (724-929-5300). Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday; Aug. 11 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jeffrey Anthony officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
