Harry Klochak; 86; of Belle Vernon; Rostraver Township; died Sunday; June 27; 2004; at 4:50 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born May 2; 1918; in Donora; he was a son of the late George Sr. and Mary Barelich Klochak. He was a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 44 years; a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and was retired from NASA; where he worked as a tool designer. Mr. Klochak was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and a lifetime member of the Disabled Veterans. He is survived by his wife; Clara N. Nichols Klochak; one brother; Donald Klochak Sr. of Arizona; and one sister; Rose Bernardo of Belle Vernon. He was preceded in death by two brothers; George Jr. and Paul Klochak; and four sisters; Anne Klochak; Mary Brazzon; Helen Matsick and Betty Smerilli. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). A prayer service will be held Wednesday; June 30 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Lawrence L. Manchas; pastor; as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. On Tuesday; members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Harry Klochak at 3 p.m.; and Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will conduct services at 7 pm; both in the funeral home.
