Obituary

Elma Gaul, 69, of Belle Vernon, died Friday, June 25, 2004, in Mountain View Nursing Center, Greensburg. A daughter of the late John and Anna Vancikova Dubrovich, she was born in Fairhope (Belle Vernon) on Aug. 30, 1934. Catholic by faith, she had been employed as a secretary for the Belle Vernon Area School District and was a lifelong resident of Fairhope. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Rick Gaul and Norm and Terri Gaul, all of Belle Vernon, one brother, John Dubrovich of Irwin, one sister, Helen Bellan of Belle Vernon, and two grandchildren, Rob and Gianna Gaul. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Dubrovich. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. A blessing service will be in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 29 at 10 a.m. with Fr. Ronald Cyktor Jr., parochial vicar of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
