Obituary

William L. Trenk, 52, of Belle Vernon, went to be with the angels on Saturday, May 8, 2004. He was born April 19, 1952, in North Charleroi, a son of the late William Trenk and Helen Melanowsky Trenk, who survives and resides in Fairhope, Belle Vernon. He was a member of The Christian Center of Belle Vernon. Mr. Trenk was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Germany during the Vietnam. He is survived by his children, Douglas Trenk, currently serving with the U.S. Army in Okinawa, Japan, and Charles Trenk and Rosemary Trenk, both of West Newton, two sisters, Linda Rathway and husband Ray of Perryopolis R.D. and Michelle Moody and husband William of Fayette City, his former spouse, Sarah Montgomery Trenk of West Newton, and many nieces and nephews and other family members. He will also be sadly missed by his beloved companion, Tiki. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Main St., Fayette City, on Monday from noon to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, May 11 until 11 a.m., when funeral services will take place with the Rev. John Derrico Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post 484, Fayette City. The Rev. Father Leonard McAlpin will hold a vigil service in the funeral home on Monday at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to: Christian Center Building Fund, Ridge Road, Belle Vernon, Pa. 15012.
