Dorothy Alberta Naylor; 83; of Rostraver Township; died Monday; April 5; 2004; in her home. She was born in Pricedale; on July 21; 1920; the daughter of the late Albert W. and Mary H. (Scrivener) Carnes. Mrs. Naylor attended Rostraver Township schools and graduated in 1938 from Rostraver Junior/Senior High School. She attended and graduated from California State Teacher’s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She later received her master’s degree in Special Education. She taught in the Rostraver Township Schools and later for Westmoreland County Intermediate Unit 7. She was a lifetime member of Pricedale Union Church; where she taught Sunday school and served on the Board of Deacons. She was also a member and past officer of the Rostraver Township AARP #3407; was a member and past officer of the Women’s Club of Fellsburg and was a lifetime member of the Retired Pennsylvania School Employees. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law; Susan and Dino Torlone; Sally and Keith Johnston; Nancy and Jack Jolley; and Debbie and Michael Cline; grandchildren; Jason and Shelley Seabury; Aimee and Sean Ward; Anthony and Colleen Torlone; Erik and Megan Johnston; Kirk Johnston; Jennifer and Scott Mittelstadt; Kristen Lakarosky; Tricia Jolley; John Jolley; Brandon Cline and Morgan Cline; great-grandchildren; Madison; Kendel and Nathan Seabury; Maggie Torlone; Ryan and Kyle Mittelstadt; and Taylor Jolley. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Clifford D. Naylor; on March 16; 1995. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC.; 580 Circle Drive; Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township; where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Mimidis and the Rev. Keith Johnston co-officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery; Rostraver Township.
