Blanche L. Nutt; 97; of Fayette City; died Monday; March 22; 2004; in Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Oliver and Louisa Conaway Duvall; she was born in Elco on Nov. 4; 1906. Protestant by faith; she was a member of the Fayette City Golden Agers and had resided in Fayette City for over 70 years. Survivors include two sons and daughters- in-law; William O. and Audrey Nutt of Stockdale and Claude R. and Dorothy Nutt of Newell; two sisters; Dorothy Stewart of Allenport and Nola Trader of Bentleyville; three grandchildren; Karl Nutt of Fayette City; Bill Nutt of Roscoe and Linda Ford of Fayette City; and four great-grandchildren; Rachel Hoffman; and Pam; Collin and Michael Nutt. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Claude W. Nutt; 1991; one granddaughter; Diane Louise Nutt; one sister; Ruth Vernallis; and three brothers; Clifford; Clell and Wilford Duvall. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; INC. (724-929-5300); 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Thursday; March 25; at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Mitch Wall; pastor of Morningstar Baptist Church in Newell; officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
