Vincent L. Sousae, 80, of 402 Racquet Club Dr.,Greensburg,died Sunday,March 19,2000,at 5:45 p.m. in the Westmoreland Hospital. He was born Nov. 6,1919,in Franklin,Pa.,a son of the late John and Josephine D'Allessio Sousae. Mr. Sousae was a resident of Greensburg for the past 17 years and previously resided in Belle Vernon. He was Catholic by faith and a retired corporate officer with Beacon Supply Co. in Belle Vernon. A vereran of the U. S. Army,he was a staff sergeant for the 8th Air Force Group. Mr. Sousae was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and the VFW Post 211. Survivors include his wife, Enice Dolfi Sousae;two sons,and a daughter-in-law,John Sousae and wife Gloria of West Chester,Pa. and Jim Sousae of Greensburg;one sister and brother-in-law,Betty Cope and husband Russell of Ft. Myers, Fla.;three grandchidlren,Michael,Kristin and Jason Sousae,and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by two sisters,Virginia Razzando and Ann Hook;and by three brothers,James, John and Lawrence Sousae. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,family owned and operated,626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. All will gather for Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 a.m.,in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev. David P. Trexler,parochial vicar, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will conduct services Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
