George T.Myers;aged 63 years;an esteemed resident of Dutchtown; died Wednesday morning;Jan.20;1915; at 2 o’clock
in St. Francis hospital; Pittsburg; after an illness of about three weeks.
Mr. Myers was taken to the hospital Sunday and underwent an operation for stomach trouble; after which
he continued to sink until death relieved him.
Deceased came to Monessen from
Naomi sixteen years ago. He leaves
a widow and two sons; David H.; of
Knox avenue and James Earl; at
home. He is also survived by three
grandchildren.
Tne remains were taken to the
home of a brother; John Myers; of
Water and First streets; Belle Vernon from where the funeral will be
held Friday;January 22;1915; at 2 p.m.; conducted by
Rev. A. H. Davies; pastor of the local M. E. Church. Deceased was a
member of the Belle Vernon order of
Odd Fellows. A brother; Hiram
Myers; lives at Lock Four.
