John A. Crosbie,aged 88,father of Dr.G.T.Crosbie of 636 Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,passed away at 10 o'clock Thursday night April 5,1928,death being due to complications of old age. The deceased has made his home with his son in Belle Vernon for the past two years,having formerly resided with a brother and sister in Independence,Mo. Dr. Crosbie is the only surviving child,there being a brother of the deceased in Ohio. The deceased is a veteran of the Civil War,having served with the 116th Ohio Valley Infantry during this war. Funeral services will be held from the Crosbie residence on Broad avenue Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with interment in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
