Bertram L. Taylor; 48; of Donora; died Thursday; May 29; 2003; in Jefferson Hospital; Pleasant Hills. He was born June 30; 1954; in Pittsburgh; a son of the late Charlotte J. Bailey Taylor Ellis. He attended school in Pittsburgh. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1972 and served eight years. After his discharge from the military; he resided in Hawaii for more than 20 years. He came to Donora and resided there until the death of his mother. He leaves to mourn his death his sister; Fern Marie Taylor of Donora; one niece; Kara Lynn Taylor and children; aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the Wayman A.M.E. Church; 687 Reed Ave.; Monessen. BEVERLY C. DRAPER FUNERAL HOME; Monessen; is in charge of the arrangements.
