Barbara Ann Allen Dupree; 67; formerly of Monessen; departed this life Monday; June 9; 2003; at 5:30 a.m. in Kane Regional Center; McKeesport. She was born March 7; 1936; in the former Charleroi-Monessen Hospital to the late Lynnwood and Addie Allen. She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Dupree; and one son; David Dupree. Mrs. Dupree resided in Monessen until 1975 when she moved to Pittsburgh to pursue her occupation as a registered nurse at Montefiore Hospital. She worked until she took ill and then resided in Washington; D.C. with her brother when her health brought her back to live with her daughter. Mrs. Dupree is survived by two sons; Richard Dean Allen of Phoenix; Ariz.; and Anthony Dupree of San Jose; Calif.; three daughters; Beverly Dupree of Pittsburgh; Shelley Dupree and husband Greg Norville of Duquesne; and Dawn Penny and husband Robert; three brothers; Richard Allen of California; Robert Allen and wife Jeanie of Washington; D.C.; and Phillip Tracey Allen of Monessen; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces; nephews; cousins and friends. Friends will be received Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at the WILLIAM R. TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Monessen and at The Lord is My Shepard Ministry; 134 Eighth Ave.; McKeesport; from 3 to 9 p.m.; where services will be held Thursday; June 12; at 11 a.m. with Bishop Leonard L.
