Genevieve M. Haffner; 90; of Pasadena; Calif.; died Wednesday; June 4; 2003; in Pasadena. A daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Sacco Reed; she was born in Belle Vernon on Jan. 27; 1913. Mrs. Haffner was a member of St. Phillips Parish of Pasadena. Formerly of Belle Vernon; she had resided in California since 1960 and; along with her late husband; managed property in the Pasadena area. Survivors include one son; Lloyd Haffner of Long Beach; Calif.; and one sister; Millie Caputo of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Lloyd R. Haffner; on Jan. 15; 1996; three sisters; Carrie Andreis; Lena Fowler and Virginia Toth; and two brothers; James and Arthur Reed. Committal services will be on Saturday; June 7; at 10 a.m. in the chapel at Belle Vernon Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald Cyktor; parochial vicar of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; officiating.
