Mary Buza; 82; of Belle Vernon; died Wednesday; March 5; 2003; in Mon Valley Hospital Inc.; Carroll Township. Born in Jacobs Creek on Feb. 19; 1921; she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Telesko Makosey. Protestant by faith; Mrs. Buza was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband; Joseph Buza; four sons; Allan J. Buza of Belle Vernon; David L. Buza of Houston; Texas; and Charles R. Buza and Richard L. Buza of Belle Vernon; two brothers; Joseph Makosey of Enid; Okla.; and James Makosey of Irwin; one sister; Helen Walker of Buena Vista; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC.; 580 Circle Drive; Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday; March 8; at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Kent Lighthall officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery; Rostraver Township.
