Marion V. Sutherland; 82; of Speers Hill; died Saturday; Jan. 25; 2003; in Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Violet Bishop Marshall and Charles F. Marshall Sr.; she was born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 26; 1920. Mrs. Sutherland was Protestant by faith and had resided in Speers for over 50 years. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; Barbara and Ronald Yuss of McMurray; one brother and sister-in-law; Charles F. Jr. and Ida Jean Marshall of Brooksville; Fla.; and two granddaughters; Lt. Meredith Yuss Camilletti; serving with the U.S. Air Force at Langley Air Force Base; Va.; and Allyson Yuss; a student at West Virginia University; Morgantown; W.Va. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; George R. Sutherland; on March 8; 1996. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.; (724-929-5300); a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Tuesday; Jan. 28; at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joel S. Garrett of Trinity United Methodist Church of McMurray officiating.
